Oberammergau Passion Play

The people of Oberammergau in Germany was struck by a very terrible plague years ago and when that happened they made a promise to God that if He only saves them from the dreadful suffering they will perform a passion play, and when the plague ceased to exist each and every people of Oberammergau vowed to keep their promise and perform a Passion play every ten years.
And now after many centuries when the first Passion play was performed the people of Oberammergau are preparing again for another performance of the passion play. They are expecting thousands of people from all over the place to witness the presentation.
